Tim Ho Wan may look modest set amidst the crowds of IFC’s MTR station, but once you settle into your slightly crowded table you will experience HK’s famous and affordable Michelin starred dim sum. The menu serves up dim sum classics made right at the minuscule spot and even a few with their own special twist. We loved the baked bun with BBQ pork which lived up to all the rave reviews we’ve heard since moving to HK. Other must try dishes include the fragrant and delicious glutinous rice dumpling and the braised chicken feet with abalone sauce. Everything was brought to the table steaming hot and perfectly cooked. Try not to visit during peak hours to avoid waiting with the crowds (we went at 4pm on a weekday and only waited 10 mintues) and bring a few friends so you can sample more of the delicious menu.
