If you are looking for mouthwatering Italian food in an intimate, candlelit setting with attentive service, La Locanda is a great choice. We were instantly drawn to the rustic wooden tables and dim, romantic ambiance. The menu is full of Italian classics including a dedicated pizza menu, plenty of pasta dishes, and mouthwatering signature dishes. Highlights of the meal included their incredibly fresh and delicious tartare di manzo, the basil and tomato accented astice in panzenella, the juicy and tender veal tenderloin which came topped with foie gras and drizzled with a truffle sauce, and the flavourful, crispy suckling pig which I cant wait to eat again. We loved sharing our dishes family style and indulging in the Italian flavours. Make sure to check out their bar on the patio for a pre or post dinner drink.
