Italian antipasti, fresh seafood, champagne and a great view are an ideal Sunday combination, and Spasso offer these in a comfortable open restaurant, perfect for families or a fun day with friends. We loved the fresh seafood selection including mouthwatering lobster, mussels, prawns and oysters, and stopped several times at their antipasti table which included caprese salad, artichokes, cheeses, cold cuts and carpaccio. They also have a pizza station and a carvery station which was serving a juicy and perfectly cooked roast beef. Main courses are cooked to order and there are pasta, fish and meat options on the menu. We chose the grilled swordfish which was light and perfectly refreshing on the hot day, and chose the rich and flavourful pig’s trotter “zampone”. Finish off with their beautiful dessert platter complete with ice cream and an array of fresh fruit. The perfect spot to pass a Sunday and enjoy champagne alongside delicious Italian fare.
