If you are looking for a little more than just your average steakhouse, Toro is the place for you. Serving up Pan Latin cuisine with a concentration on juicy cuts of meat, Chef Richard Sandoval brings a bit of spice and excitement to the menu. Favourites to start with were the refreshing Tuna Nikkei Ceviche, the Spiced Beef Tartare, the juicy and flavourful Carne Asada Tacos and the sweet and plump Crusted Sea Scallops. The selection of steaks were impossible to resist and we ordered both the Filet Mignon and T-bone for our main course. The juicy cuts of meat, which were served on sizzling hot plates, were perfectly cooked and packed with flavour. Make sure to save room for some of their great desserts. We especially loved the rich and indulgent Molten Abuelita Chocolate Cake. With a casual gastro bar downstairs and chic dining room upstairs, Toro is the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing after work meal or fun date night.
