8th ANNIVERSARY MENU
Azure is celebrating their 8th anniversary with a delicious dinner set menu and new cocktails. Before our meal we headed to their outdoor terrace for a cocktail and a glass of wine from their limited time rose selection, featuring light and crisp vintages from the South of France. Their outdoor terrace has a great view of Hong Kong’s skyline and features spacious surroundings, allowing us to escape from the city’s loud streets and put us in the mood for a romantic dinner. Dinner was served in their beautiful restaurant featuring floor to ceiling windows, again allowing for a great view of the city. The menu begins with the Hokkaido Scallop Ceviche which was meaty, sweet and perfectly marinated. The celery and green apple soup that followed was light, fresh and healthy and fit in perfectly before our mains. For mains our favourite dish was the melt in your mouth US Tenderloin which was full of flavour and cooked to an ideal medium rare. The sous-vide salmon was also very tasty and worked well with the shisho and plum jus. The Champagne Strawberry Macaron was a great treat to end the meal, tasty and not overly sweet or filling. Make sure to try some of the eight special Absolut cocktails they are serving in celebration of their anniversary with a promotional price of HK$88. The Absolut Smash was one of our favourites. The 4 course dinner menu is available until 30 September 2014 and is priced at HK$588 per person.
