Nom, which stands for Not Only Meatballs, is a welcoming, lively spot serving up yummy Italian fare. Fabrizio Napolitano, former chef at the ever popular Goccia, is heading up the reigns in the kitchen so you know the food will be an authentic and delicious treat. We loved the buzzing atmosphere and sharing friendly menu making it an ideal spot for a night out with friends. Although they don’t just serve meatballs, they do have an impressive variety on offer, ranging from chicken to seafood to the classic beef version. Favourite dishes included the light and refreshing Sustainable Bluefin Tuna with broad beans and goat yogurt, the classic Beef Meatballs with Neapolitan Ragout and ricotta cheese, the indulgent Mushroom & Black Truffle Pizza, and the meaty, flavourful Slow Roasted Iberico Lamb which came with a lovely pumpkin puree. Make sure to pair everything with the delicious red sparkling Lambrusco wine, which sounds slightly offbeat at first, but was the ideal accompaniment for the Italian dishes. A definite must try if you are looking for comfort food and a great vibe in the heart of Central.
