We have always loved watching Gordon Ramsay’s foodie reality TV shows and were extremely excited to hear he was transporting his famous London eatery, Bread Street Kitchen, to the LKF Hotel. The vast venue celebrates modern warehouse design with a slight retro feel, and creates the ideal lively ambiance for eating and drinking. We loved the modern British menu full of nostalgic favourites from the UK and were very impressed with their impeccable service staff who were friendly and efficient. Favourite dishes off the menu included the refreshing, Sea Bass Carpaccio with avocado, horseradish and ginger, the tender and flavourful Honey Glazed Beef Short Ribs with pomelos, scallions and sesame seeds, the melt in your mouth Slow Roasted Dingley Dell Pork Belly with spiced apple puree and brioche garlic crumbs, and their Traditional Shepherd’s Pie with braised lamb and potato puree. Every dish was full of fresh, quality produce and utilized a modern twist on many of our favourite classic recipes. Bread Street Kitchen & Bar is a perfect date night spot and somewhere to celebrate with friends. A definite Hungry Hong Kong favourite and we can’t wait to go back for more.
