MANGO PUREE, ITALIAN BISCOTTI
Kinsale, located on Kennedy Town’s serene waterfront, is an inviting, open fronted restaurant perfect for long leisurely lunches and relaxed dinners. We loved the high ceilings and seaside theme taking us straight out of HK’s loud and busy streets and making it instantly easy to unwind. Their menu is a variety of comfort food classics with a distinct gourmet spin. To start the meal we recommend their large, juicy Roasted Sea Scallops with black pudding, frizze lettuce and citrus truffle dressing, and the refreshing Dressed Crab Mayonnaise with avocado, cucumber, chervil & apple and crab croquettes. For our main courses we loved sharing their juicy Slow Roasted Cornish Rock Hen with buttered green beans, potato chips, bread sauce and jus gras, and, a must order in our opinion, was their warming and cozy “The Kinsale Shellfish Pie” with shrimp, scallop, fish and crab swimming in a tasty, light fish veloute, underneath a crisp layer of glazed potato. Make sure to leave room for dessert as their generous Warm Aplle, Cinnamon and Sultana Crumble with vanilla bean ice cream is not one to miss. The entire meal was complimented with friendly service and a great wine list to match. Definietly somehwere we look forward to returning again and again.
