A slice of Caribbean flavour has been imported to HK in the form of Rummin’ Tings, located on busy Hollywood Road, and we have been eager to head over to give their menu of island fresh cocktails and Caribbean food a try. The menu focuses on a unique take on the Caribbean’s street food with the spicy, strong flavours pairing nicely with their refreshing cocktails. We loved the flavourful Jamaican Beef Patties, which hadperfectly flaky pastry and packed a nice kick, the tender fall off the bone Sticky Island Ribs with Caribbean BBQ sauce, the crispy and moreish Conch Fritters with salsa verde, and the juicy Jamrock Jerk Chicken with Tamarind aioli. Don’t leave without having a slice of their delicious carrot cake and make sure to try a few of their unique cocktails, our favourite being the powerful “Lawd Ah Mercy” using Ron Zacapa 23 years, angostura bitters and Fee Brothers Chocolate & Plum Bitters. A lively spot to hang out with friends over delicious fare and fun drinks. We know we will be back very soon.
