Our favourite Portuguese restaurant has appointed new executive Chef Edgar Alves to the team and the menu is more delicious than ever. Chef Alves has worked in 5* hotels across Portugal and has great skill in curating a mouthwatering, authentic menu. New irresistible dishes include the indulgent Traditional Creamy Bacalhau Cassoulet, the moreish and crispy “Santos Populares” Style Baby Sardines, the flavourful Poached Fresh Atlantic Cod with Roasted Tomato and Herbs, and the tender and mouthwatering Iberico Pork Tenderloin and Mushroom Juicy Rice. Our favourite of the night was a summer ready Traditional Seafood “Cataplana” Stew with fresh ingredients and a fragrant, delicious broth. Make sure to save room for desserts as the new refreshing Pineapple Carpaccio Madeira Way with Lemon Sorbet is ideal in this summer heat. As always we loved pairing our Portuguese meal with their unique selection of Green Wines, but also couldn’t resist their fruity, seasonal cocktails for a summer treat.
