We couldn’t visit Bali without another meal at The Plantation Grill, one of our favourite dining establishments on the island, boasting one of the most luxurious dining rooms we’ve visited. We decided to try all different dishes on our second visit and absolutely loved their indulgent Oysters Florentine “Marchetti Style” which were topped with Steamed Lemon Spinach, Pernod, Garlic, Parmesan & Gruyere and Gratinated in the wood oven. We also recommend the refreshing “Ceviche meets Tartare” with Raw Grouper, Wild Barramundi & Salmon, Honey-Bee Pollen and Sterling Caviar to start. For the main course we feasted on a generous, juicy Thick Cut Pork Chop, and their flavourful Whole Spit Roasted Quail which was partly boned and filled with a smoked ham, sour dough, sage and Parmesan stuffing and served on Paris Mash with a quail foie gras sauce. Dining at The Plantation Grill is always a true treat and we couldn’t think of a better way to spend date night.
