Yakakiya, TST’s new trendy yakitori spot, boasts a mouthwatering, modern yakitori menu paired with sleek design and friendly service. We instantly loved the hipster vibe and couldn’t resist ordering a feast off the extensive, Japanese menu. We highly recommend sampling a selection from their juicy, perfectly grilled yakitori menu including the tender Iberico Ham Skewers and the indulgent and delicious Wagyu Beef Sukiyaki Rolls with Hokkaido Eggs for dipping. All the meat is top quality, creating flavorful, morish skewers that pair well with beer and sake. Other favourite dishes from the menu included their unique, signature Mixed Seafood Wafer Chirashi Sushi which combined delicious flavours and textures, the Home Made Cream Cheese Tofu which was a creamy treat on a hot summer day, and their crispy Rock Shrimp Tempura which we couldn’t stop picking at. Finish your meal with a bowl of refreshing Hakata Spicy Cod Roe Cold Udon Noodle and don’t forget to try a few drinks off their extensive sake menu, their Hatsumago Makiri Junmai being our favourite. Definitely somewhere you can spend hours chatting, eating, and drinking with friends enjoying not only delicious food but a fun dining experience.
