After the success of Issaya Siamese Club in Bangkok, the restaurant has opened it’s sister restaurant in Hong Kong and is serving their delicious Thai menu for us to enjoy. We loved the chic and bohemian decor, creating an ambient setting for a fun night out. The menu features plenty of choice and centres around signature dishes created by co-founder Chef Ian Kittichai. Favourite appetisers of the night included the fall off the bone Spiced Rubbed Pork Baby Back Ribs glazed with Issaya house-blended chili paste, the indulgent Beef Tenderloin Tartare with Northern Thai Dried Spices, sawtooth coriander, poached egg yolk and chili, and the unique and flavourful Banana Blossom and Heart of Palm Salad with crispy shallots and roasted peanuts in a chili jam dressing. For mains we highly recommend their delicious Slow-Cooked Smoked Salmon with Jerusalem Artichokes in a homemade red curry sauce, their tender Lamb Shank simmered in Mussamun Curry and their fragrant Asian Multigrains with Chiang Mai Mushrooms and garlic sprinkled with mushroom-scented oil. Save room for dessert and enjoy the fun and tasty Cold Coconut Crepe Souffle which is prepared table side in theatrical fashion. Each dish featured classic Thai flavours served in an innovative and enticing manner ensuring an delicious and memorable dining experience.
