Seasons by Olivier E. is one of our favourite French fine dining establishments in the city so we were very excited to visit and sample their Summer Tasting Menu. As always our meal was created with mouthwatering delectable produce and featured innovative dishes which made for an exciting and delicious meal. We loved starting with the refreshing and light Special Geay No 2 Oysters with Diced Cucumber & Vodka-Lemon Granita, and the perfectly balanced Iberico Bellota Ham with Tomato Jelly & Fresh Cheese Foam. The delicous and beautifully displayed Hokkaido Sea Urchin Scrambled Egg & “Coustille” was one of the highlights of our dinner and was followed by a sweet and fragrant Hazelnut Butter Lobster with Girolles & Apricot Fricasse around Foie Gras Suace. Our main course consisted of an extremely tasty, tender and juicy Roasted “Diamandin” Lamb Saddle with Artichoke & Summer Truffle Gnocchi which we couldn’t get enough of, and the menu ended perfectly with a light and refreshing Pear Carpaccio with Lychee Jelly & Blood Orange Sorbet. Each course was paired with ideal wines selected by the sommelier and their discreet and helpful staff ensured we had a great evening. Highly recommended for date nights, celebratory meals, or just if you are craving a decadent taste of summer with a French twist.
