The more the merrier applies to 208’s new Italian feast menu, with generous plates that capture the heart of Italy, this sharing menu guarantee’s you will be well fed. Their latest offer features ‘Mama Mia’ – because there’s no other love like your mother’s – a six dish sharing menu for 2-4. For larger groups, opt for the ‘Nonna – because when Nonna is in charge, you know you’re not leaving the table until you’ve loosened your belt buckle– the eight plate menu for Italian aficionados across Hong Kong. 208’s resident chef will gladly curate the menu to your tastes, with such a delectable selection it may be best to leave it to the professionals! We started off with a beautifully effortless burrata and tomatoes, drizzled with balsamic. Next was a refreshing combination of salmon , green apple, cucumber, celery and radish. For mains, their homemade gnocchi is a must try, these pillowy bites were perfectly seared on the outside and soft on the inside. This was followed by tiger prawns smothered in romesco sauce on a bed of cous cous. It doesn’t stop there – sinful sweets are up next and despite being stuffed, we squeezed in some death by chocolate – a plate of warm fudge brownies and a calzone filled with nutella. A definite winner and satisfying feast to say the least, 208 offers a haven from the busy streets of Central and serves up a variety of Italian comfort foods – just like Nonna would make! ‘Mama Mia’ is priced at HKD $408 per person and ‘Nonna’ at HKD $588 per person
