This December Whisk at The Mira Hong Kong introduced talented Guest Chef Domenico Francone from Tuscany’s renowned Castello Banfi Il Borgo restaurant La Taverna to give HK an authentic taste of classic Tuscan cuisine. We love the gastronomic delights of Tuscany so were very excited to taste the fresh flavours here on our doorstep. We recommend the crisp and fragrant Sea Bass Cannolo with Melon and Celery, the indulgent Beef Tartare with Pappa Al Pomodoro, Avocado Salad and Balsamic Dressing, the flavourful Pork Belly Ravioli with Peas Cream and Pistachio, and the tender and juicy Duo of Veal with Mushrooms, Potatoes and Brunello Suace. The modern take on a traditional tiramisu was an ideal sweet end to a decadent meal full of innovative techniques and familiar flavours. A great menu to accompany the holiday season.
