TokyoLima, tucked in a corner on Lyndhurst Terrace, serves up Nikkei cuisine and tempting innovative cocktails. We loved the electric atmosphere that was felt as soon as we set foot in the door, mixed with dark ambient lighting, and chic relaxed seating perfect for long dinners and late nights. Nikkei cuisine brings together Peruvian and Japanese flavours which TokyoLima does perfectly throughout. We highly recommend the fragrant and addictive “La Causa” Chef Arturo’s version of Peru’s traditional terrine, the fresh and flavourful “H&M” Hamachi and Maguro Tuna with Clementine Dressing, the beautifully tender Octopus Anticuchos with Black Olive Tapenade, Carrot Puree and Capers, the juicy Grilled USDA Rib Eye Steak with Wasabi Peppercorn Sauce, Roasted Padron Peppers and Ginger & Garlic Flakes, and the decadent and delicious Lobster Acevichada with Chili Butter. Each bite was a mixture of unique and fresh flavours and paired perfectly with their impressive cocktails and sakes from their extensive selection. A definite new Hungry Hong Kong favourite that we look forward to returning to very soon!
