Vertigo is a must visit while in Bangkok and one of our favourite dining experiences during our trip. Located at the luxurious Banyan Tree, Vertigo offers 360 views of the city from an awe inspiring vantage point. Without any obstructions you are able to dine in the sky and enjoy a beautiful sunset the way it’s supposed to be seen. We loved the fine dining atmosphere and the varied menu with many decadent options. Favourite dishes of the night included the refreshing Spiced Ahi Tuna Ceviche with Avocado, Coriander, Lime, Chili and Shallots finished with Salmon Roe, the fragrant Baked Ocean Trout with Sauteed French Beans and New Potatoes served in a Red Curry White Wine Butter Sauce with Steamed Black Mussels and Thai Basil, and the perfectly prepared 100% Pasture-Fed Free-Range Australian Hereford Beef Tenderloin with Sauce Bordelaise. We can’t think of a better spot for a celebratory dinner or a truly impressive date night.
