Gaucho has welcomed new Head Chef Eggi Enkh-Amgalan, who has had experience in both Gaucho Dubai and Manchester and has introduced some new and revamped dishes to their popular Argentinian menu. We love the lively and inviting atmosphere at Gaucho and their romantic, cozy booth seating perfect for a relaxed evening out. While perusing their tempting menu were were introduced to their steaks, neatly presented on a wooden board. The knowledgeable and friendly waiter walked us through each cut and was able to suggest the best option based on our steak preferences. We started our meal with a selection of delicious freshly made Empanadas served piping hot with flaky, irresistible pastry. We also loved the refreshing Tuna Ceviche with Gaucamole, Chilli and Soy Sauce, and highly recommend their new indulgent Pan Fried Veal Sweetbreads with Whole Grain Mustard Potato salad which was a definite favourite. For main courses we opted for their popular “Ancho” Rib-Eye Steak which was full of flavour and cooked to a perfect medium rare as requested. We also highly recommend the Churrasco de Lomo which is expertly marinated in parsley, garlic, and Olive Oil for 48 hours so the cut melts in your mouth and is bursting with flavour. Make sure to ask the sommelier to recommend a bottle from their exclusively Argentinian wine list. A perfect spot for a celebratory meal, relaxing date night, or if you are just craving one of the best steaks in HK.
