HEXA, a beautiful, contemporary Chinese restaurant and bar boasting a prime location at Harbour City, will be serving a delicious menu to celebrate Chinese New Year. We headed to their grand dining room to sample the menu and admire the spectacular views. Created by Executive Chef Harry Hung, the Chinese New Year Menu is both traditional and creative adding unexpected twists to well loved dishes. Our ten course food journey started with a light and vibrant Salmon Salad and their warming and fragrant Double Boiled Shark’s Fin Soup with Yunnan Ham. We were then treated to perfectly prepared Braised Abalone with Elm Fungus, and sweet, fresh Prawns in Distillers Grains Sauce. Our main courses were equally impressive and mouthwatering with a delicate Steamed Grouper Fillet with Crab Meat, indulgent Braised Pork Knuckle with Black Moss, and extremely crisp and flavourful Deep Fried Golden Chicken. Accompanying these dishes was delicious Glutinous Rice with Lobster and Pea Shoot in Supreme Stock with Wolfberries. Complete with 270 degree panoramic views of the fireworks, HEXA is an ideal choice to spend the holiday with family and friends and treat yourself with a innovative and satisfying Chinese tasting menu.
The special dinner set menu is priced at $1,388HK for two or more people and is only available on the second day of Chinese New Year (17th February)
