The Residence Bintan, only a short ferry ride from Singapore, is an idyllic and relaxing resort, perfect for families and couples looking to escape the city. We loved the modern-meets traditional Asian design and spacious pool villas boasting ocean views. The grounds are vast and offer all you would need for a luxurious five star holiday. Head to the beach for swimming and watersports or relax at the large and refreshing main pool. Kids will be more than entertained by the well staffed and fully equipped kids club while parents can relax with cocktails at the bar. The food at The Residence Bintan was excellent with delicious traditional Indonesian fare at Rica Rica and very impressive Western and Asian options and The Dining Room. Make sure to partake in their Beach BBQ for the perfect holiday dinner with your feet in the sand and a sky full of stars to complete the experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating ensuring we were comfortable in our decadent room and every moment around the resort until our ferry ride home. The Residence Bintan is a great option for families looking for rest, relaxation, and luxury surrounded by palm trees and beautiful scenery just a short ride away from bustling Singapore.
