Not only did the staff go out of their way to ensure we had a warm welcome but the personal and luxurious details created a home away from home throughout our memorable stay. We loved having decadent breakfasts in the full service Premium Lounge or at their mouthwatering main restaurant, La Fontana.
Each evening the lounge hosted a happy hour for Premium guests where you could enjoy wine, beers, and a variety of light bites alongside panoramic views of the vibrant city. Barcelo’s concierge service was friendly and full of recommendations for nearby sights, the best shopping areas, and where we could locate mouthwatering local eats. We were within easy walking distance to the historic centre and several parks, cultural markets and a huge variety of street food carts. The refreshing swimming pool was the ideal antidote after a big day of exploring and we made full use of the relaxing jacuzzis and ambient space.
