Hong Kong’s Two Michelin Star Octavium stands strong as one of the city’s most coveted dining establishments featuring fresh, expertly sourced ingredients, an inspired perfectly executed menu, and intimate yet relaxed setting ensuring a truly enjoyable experience for the discerning diner. Set in Hong Kong’s Central district the fine dining restaurant is a stylish and cosy haven above the busy streets. Our meal started with a refreshing glass of champagne and a sample of flavour packed amuse bouche before descending upon a tasting menu to remember.
Group Executive Chef Bjoern Alexander and Resident Chef Roland have created a distinctive and elegant menu using the freshest, highest quality ingredients. Highlights included the delectable Tuna with daikon, caviar and egg, the creamy and indulgent Goose Foie Gras with dates, cacao and long black pepper, the fragrant and perfectly al dente Spaghetti with bottarga, squid and chili, the rich Spanish Red Prawn with bottarga butter, the tender and flavourful Aged Pigeon with rose, beetroot and radicchio, and the melt in your mouth Omi Beef.
Each course is expertly paired with a unique wine and staff were professional and impeccable throughout the dining experience. We enjoyed the welcoming setting where you can have a romantic date night or enjoyable evening with friends and family. There is also a large private dining room for dinner parties. Book ahead to reserve a window table where you can take in the vibrant city while enjoying an unforgettable dining experience.
