We loved the welcoming and relaxed ambiance, friendly staff, and varied menu full of Japanese specialities and creative renditions of well loved dishes. The restaurant serves a full omakase menu and an a la carte selection great for sharing with friends and family.
We grabbed a seat at the sushi bar and loved watching the chefs in action, getting recommendations, and having our sake paired with each course. The options are plentiful from nigiri and sashimi to kushiyaki options and classic grilled dishes. Highlights of our dinner included the delicate and refreshing Saitamo Fruit Tomato with Yuzu Gel and Shiso Oil, the crisp and addictive Karaage with Black Sugar Glaze and Salted Egg Yolk, the tender Ox Tongue Kushiyaki with Sea Salt, and juicy Chicken Tsukune Kushiyaki with Taiyou Egg Yolk Sauce.
