Famed Tokyo Michelin Star Restaurant TIRPSE has opened on the shores of HK brining its inspired French meets Japanese fare to the stylish K11 Musea. Japanese Chef Shimizu Yuta has created a menu full of fresh seasonal ingredients, inspired recipes, and unique combinations that tantalise the senses.
From start to finish we were taken on a unique culinary journey sure to please the discerning diner. We loved the sleek and sophisticated dining room featuring intimate tables overlooking Hong Kong’s iconic Victoria Harbour. There was a great sense of understated romance and grandeur in the space which made it perfect for a celebratory date night.
We started with a selection of amuse bouche designed to be enjoyed by hand and we loved the delicate and light seafood courses of the White Asparagus, Squid and Blood Orange, the fragrant and tender Lobster with Spelt and Lime, and the delectable Sea Bass with Clam and Wild Vegetables.
The lamb was juicy and flavourful and we couldn’t believe the melt in your mouth Omi Wagyu A4 with Turnip and Parsley. To finish our tastebuds were treated to a refreshing sorbet before delving into a tart and delightful Rhubarb dessert perfect for the summer season.
We enjoyed the combinations of textures in each dish and full use of summer ingredients suitable for HK’s hot and humid season. Each course was served with beautiful presentation and perfectly paired with wine selected by the expert sommelier. The restaurant also features a private dining room and outdoor patio, great for an aperitif or after dinner drink with a view.
