Dim Sum is a favourite family dining experience each time we are in Hong Kong and we are always looking for another spot to sample the delicious HK speciality. Ying Jee Club, one of Central’s best Cantonese restaurants, has been awarded two Michelin stars and serves one of the most delicous and beaituflly presented dim sum menu’s in town.
We sampled their lunch tasting menu, giving us a taste of their signature dishes, and truly enjoyed every bite. Highlights included the fragrant and delicate Shark’s Fin Dumpling with Dried Seafood in Bouillon, fresh and flavourful Shrimp Dumpling with Fungus, and the decadent Australia M9 Wagyu Beef Puff with Scallion.
Their Honey Glazed Barbecue Pork was tender and the perfect mix of sweet and savoury and we couldn’t get enough of the juicy Pork Puffs with Sesame and Scallion. You also can’t miss the decadent Wok-fried Lobster and the addictive Fried Rice Vermicelli with Roasted Duck, Barbecued Pork, Bean Sprout and Chive.
Make sure to finish with an assortment of their local desserts and pair the meal with a pot of the fragrant Jasmine tea. The modern and open dining room and immpeccable service makes it ideal for business lunches or a casual afternoon with friends and family.
