Matheefaru, Hideaway’s gourmet buffet restaurant, was one of our favourite dining experiences during our stay. Each day we sat on the welcoming outdoor deck overlooking turquoise waters and a tranquil scene. The rustic buffet space features a wide range of stations from traditional Maldivian to Chinese, Indian, and plenty of fresh healthy options. We loved the dinner buffet which boasted a large selection of reef fish displayed on ice. Guests are welcome to choose their fish of choice and have it made to order and brought to your table. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the freshly prepared pasta station and of course the incredible indulgent desserts. Pair your dinner with cocktails or wine from the list and make sure to save room for an assorted cheese platter to complete your foodie experience.
