We loved the decadent date night ambiance and unique use of fresh ingredients fusing Scandinavian and Japanese techniques.
The sophisticated space is designed by world-renowned design firm Yabu Pushelberg showcasing soft warm tones, and glittering views of Hong Kong’s skyline. Chef Eric, Executive Chef and owner of Arbor, shows off his skill in the restaurant business after years of experience in world class restaurants. His extensive resume includes Two Michelin starred Chez Dominique, 3 Michelin-starred Restaurant Aqua in The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg, and HK’s own Cafe Gray Deluxe. His talents in the kitchen have won the restaurant two coveted Michelin stars and keep diners coming back for the surprising and irresistible tasting menus.
Highlights of our dinner included the delicate and decadent Shiro Ebi & Caviar Tart, melt in your mouth Buri, rich and creamy Truffle Ramen, the perfectly spiced Pigeon, and meticulously prepared melt in your mouth A4 Wagyu Beef. Desserts were equally impressive featuring a refreshing citrus course or their indulgent signature Genmaicha & Caviar.
We enjoyed the sommelier’s selection of wine and loved how each glass brought out the flavours and depth of each dish. Arbor is one of our favourite restaurants in Hong Kong and sure to impress the discerning diner. A must visit spot and ideal if you’re looking to impress. Make sure to book a windowside table for the ultimate romantic evening.
