Scotland had some of the freshest and most delicious produce we’ve tasted and FIN & GRAPE is a prime example of a boutique eatery making full use of the mouthwatering local ingredients. We were instantly drawn to the intimate and stylish restaurant serving a changing tasting menu and chalkboard full of fresh seafood.

We tried their popular tasting menu to share which consisted of 4 small plates and a market fish and included addictive salt cod mousse with herb oil and grilled sourdough, fresh cured sea trout with celeriac, blood orange and Sichuan pepper, and fragrant BBQ onion with goats cheese, pickled walnut and truffle.

The highlight was the perfectly prepared John Dory adorned with delectable giant chickpeas, spinach and wild garlic.  The sharing concept of FIN & GRAPE was a welcome delight and creates the perfect social and enjoyable dining experience for date night or a night out with friends.

The knwoleageble staff were amazing at suggesting the best dishes, cocktails, and wine pairing for a truly unforgettable meal.
