Pearl, The Westin Maldives’ picturesque overwater restaurant, is an unforgettable dining destination while staying at the five star resort. We loved the unique architecture resembling the mouth of a whale shark, and open deck allowing guests to admire the marine life and stars as they dine. A central open kitchen prepares sushi and sashimi and the restaurant serves a variety of Japanese specialities alongside sake cocktails. We visited on their tasting menu night where we were able to sample renditions of all their signature creations. Highlights included the fresh and mouthwatering Sushi and Sashimi platter, fragrant Ramen and tender and juicy Grilled Selection. The service was friendly and the ambiance was perfect for our final evening at the stunning resort.
