Nestled in Kyoto’s picturesque rolling mountain foothills ROKU KYOTO is an idyllic and secluded getaway just a short distance from the centre of the historic city. We loved the tranquil surroundings and serene atmosphere which created an unforgettable relaxing stay.

The beautifully designed property features modern architecture and classic Japanese details alongside five star guest rooms and unparalleled views. Our modern Deluxe Twin Room was an ideal spot to unwind showcasing floor to ceiling windows and mountain views, a decadently deep bathtub, and sumptuous beds.  We made full use of the Wellness Spa, stayed fit in the fully equipped fitness centre, and found respite in the refreshing thermal outdoor pool.

The restaurant, TENJIN, served a mouthwatering Japanese and Western breakfast each morning and we highly recommend sampling their French influenced a la carte menu for a delicious dining experience during your stay.

ROKU is just a short walk from the Golden Pavilion, one of Kyoto’s most sought after cultural sites. Our family enjoyed escaping the buzzing city streets and unwinding during our staying at the serene and memorable ROKU KYOTO during our visit to Japan.
