From the moment we walked in, the restaurant had a buzzing ambiance that felt lively without being overwhelming. The warm lighting, elegant décor, and welcoming staff immediately set the tone for a special evening.
We started with the oysters, which were fresh, briny, and the perfect opener to the meal. The classic Caesar salad followed, crisp and refreshing with just the right amount of tangy dressing and shaved Parmesan. Both dishes paired beautifully with selections from their extensive wine list, which offers something for every palate.
The stars of the night, of course, were the steaks. We ordered the filet mignon and the Kansas City New York steak, and both were perfection. Cooked exactly to temperature, the filet was buttery and tender, while the Kansas City cut had a rich, bold flavor that steak lovers dream about. Without a doubt, these were the best steaks we have had in a long time.
For sides, we could not resist the brussels sprouts and the mac and cheese. The sprouts were charred just enough to bring out their natural sweetness, and the mac and cheese was creamy, decadent, and completely satisfying. Together, they rounded out the meal beautifully.
Friendly service tied it all together, making us feel both cared for and at ease. Arroyo Chop House is more than a meal, it is an experience, and one that we cannot wait to enjoy again.
