Crust & Flame on Olhuveli’s Dream Island felt like an elegant escape from the moment we arrived. The stylish interiors set a sophisticated tone and the romantic outdoor deck, with ocean breezes and soft lighting, made it the perfect spot for a special evening. The menu’s Asian Mediterranean fusion is imaginative without being fussy, and each dish we tried showed clear respect for good ingredients and confident cooking.

We started with deep fried goat’s cheese, crunchy and warm on the outside with a silky, tangy centre that paired beautifully with a light salad. The pan fried line caught job fish with creamy risotto was a standout, the fish perfectly seared and the risotto luxuriously smooth, comforting in a way that felt both refined and comforting. The Asian beef prime rib eye arrived tender and richly flavoured, its seasoning leaning into umami while still letting the meat shine. For dessert the bittersweet chocolate fondant was indulgent and satisfying, the center molten and just the right counterpoint to the meal.

Service was polished and attentive, never intrusive, and the wine list offered thoughtful choices that complemented the fusion flavours. Crust & Flame balances style and heart in a way that makes it ideal for a romantic night out or a grown up dinner worth lingering over. We left feeling delighted and already planning our next visit.
