COCO Beach House at New World Phu Quoc Resort is the kind of beachfront restaurant that instantly sets the mood for an unforgettable island meal. The setting is picture perfect with stylish open-air seating, picturesque sea views, and the sound of waves in the background. It feels relaxed and breezy but still polished enough to make the experience feel special.
The food here was easily some of the best seafood we had on the island. We started with the local herring salad, a Phu Quoc specialty, served in delicate rice paper wraps. Fresh, bright, and full of texture it was the perfect introduction to the kitchen’s approach. The flower snails were another standout. They came perfectly cooked and packed with flavor a dish that felt both local and refined.
The abalone with creamy sauce showed off a richer side of the menu. Tender and luxurious it was great paired with the fragrant steamed clams which arrived in a broth full of herbal aroma. The king crab fried rice was one of those dishes you cannot stop eating. Every bite was buttery and full of sweet crab meat and it would be easy to return just for that.
To finish we tried the Wagyu beef cheek clay pot which was slow cooked, incredibly tender, and wonderfully indulgent.
