During our recent visit to The Steakhouse at ANA InterContinental Tokyo, we enjoyed a refined yet comforting steakhouse experience that delivered on both quality and execution. We began with the Caesar salad, which was crisp and refreshing, featuring fresh Romaine lettuce coated in a rich and well balanced dressing. The savoury notes from the anchovy and the generous shaving of Parmesan added depth without overwhelming the palate, making it a satisfying start to the meal.

The highlight of the evening was the US Striploin, cooked exactly to our preferred doneness. The steak had a beautifully seared exterior that locked in the juices, while the inside remained tender and flavourful. Each bite showcased the natural richness of the beef, and the simple yet thoughtful accompaniments allowed the quality of the meat to shine. It was a classic steakhouse dish done right, with no unnecessary frills.

We ended the meal with the Basque cheesecake, which was indulgent without being too heavy. The lightly caramelised top added a subtle bitterness that balanced the creamy, smooth interior perfectly. Overall, The Steakhouse at ANA InterContinental Tokyo offered a polished dining experience with well executed dishes, making it a solid choice for steak lovers visiting the city.
