Dining on the Rocks at Six Senses Samui delivered one of the most memorable dining experiences of our stay on the island, combining breathtaking sea views, spectacular sunsets, and exceptionally personalised service in an unforgettable clifftop setting. The stunning alfresco venue cascades across wooden terraces suspended above the ocean, creating a romantic yet relaxed atmosphere where every table feels immersed in the beauty of Koh Samui’s coastline.

We opted for the tasting menu experience, which allowed us to explore the restaurant’s refined and creative approach to cuisine. Each course was beautifully presented and thoughtfully paced, making the evening feel both intimate and special. Highlights included the incredibly fresh Phuket lobster, delicate crab ravioli served with a rich bisque, and perfectly cooked beef tenderloin that was tender and full of flavour. Every dish balanced elegance with vibrant ingredients and showcased the restaurant’s sophisticated style of cooking.

One of the things we loved most was the flexibility of the menu selection, with guests able to choose from Western, vegan, or Thai fusion tasting menus to suit different preferences. Combined with the panoramic ocean backdrop and attentive service that made every detail feel seamless, Dining on the Rocks offered an elevated dining experience that felt truly worthy of its iconic reputation.
