Rib Room & Bar Steakhouse is one of those places that instantly feels special the moment you walk in. The space is sleek and sophisticated, with sweeping views over Bangkok that make it an easy pick for a memorable night out. It still manages to feel relaxed enough for a family dinner, especially with the warm, attentive service that makes you feel genuinely looked after.
We started with the Rib Room Caesar Salad, prepared tableside, which always adds a bit of theatre and sets the tone for the meal. The escargots in parsley butter were rich and classic, while the tuna tostada brought a lighter, more modern contrast. The pan fried foie gras was beautifully done, indulgent without being too heavy.
For mains, the café de Paris steak is a must order. It is served the traditional way on a silver tray, sliced and finished in that signature buttery sauce right in front of you. We also loved the snow fish fillet with miso paste, which was delicate and perfectly balanced. The Australian wagyu rib eye delivered on flavour and tenderness, while the wagyu bolognese with homemade pappardelle was a comforting standout that the kids loved.
Dessert was just as fun, with crêpes Suzette prepared tableside to finish. Between the views, the polished setting, and consistently excellent service, it is a great spot for a family dinner that still feels elevated and a little bit special.
