Tucked away at the base of AYANA Resort Bali’s dramatic cliffs, Kubu Beach Club offers a completely different beach club experience from the polished, high-energy venues found elsewhere on the island. Part of the adventure begins with the journey down to the beach. Guests descend via AYANA’s famous glass cliffside lift, which reveals increasingly breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean with every metre. The ride alone is worth experiencing, offering panoramic vistas of Bali’s rugged coastline before arriving at the secluded cove below.
The setting is truly spectacular. Framed by towering cliffs, Kubu Beach Club enjoys some of the most impressive ocean views in Uluwatu. We spent a leisurely afternoon enjoying the casual menu, starting with refreshing fresh coconuts that were perfect in the tropical heat. For lunch, we shared the Lumpia and Pork Satay, both packed with flavour and ideal for relaxed beachside dining. The Kubu Burger was another highlight, hearty and satisfying after a morning spent exploring the resort.
