We began with a beautifully presented Hokkaido scallop carpaccio followed by garlic prawns, arriving in fragrant spiced olive oil alongside grilled sourdough that was impossible to stop dipping into the rich, garlicky sauce.

For mains, the fresh barramundi was perfectly cooked with crisp skin and moist, flaky flesh, allowing the quality of the fish to shine. The braised Australian beef cheeks were wonderfully tender after their slow cook, served with a rich red wine sauce that added plenty of depth without overwhelming the meat. We also shared one of Oliverra’s signature grilled Stockyard beef cuts, cooked over the restaurant’s Josper grill. The smoky finish from the coffee wood charcoal gave the beef a wonderful depth of flavour while maintaining its beautifully juicy centre.
