For a family stay in Paris with the Eiffel Tower on your doorstep, Canopy by Hilton Paris Eiffel Tower proved to be an ideal base for our latest visit. Set in the elegant 16th arrondissement, just moments from Trocadéro, the hotel combines a relaxed contemporary atmosphere with one of the most enviable locations in the city.
Travelling as a family of four, we stayed in a spacious suite with a connecting room, giving us plenty of space to spread out while still keeping everyone together. Connecting rooms are available at the property, making Canopy an especially convenient option for families who want more room and privacy than a traditional Paris hotel room can often provide.
Location was one of our favourite things about the stay. We could wake up, step outside and walk straight towards Trocadéro with that iconic Eiffel Tower view. From there, we loved wandering through the gardens, crossing the Seine and continuing beneath the Eiffel Tower to Champ de Mars. It became such an easy part of our mornings and afternoons, whether we were heading out sightseeing or simply picking up something delicious for a picnic in the park. Having one of Paris’ most beautiful walks right outside the hotel made exploring with the kids feel effortless.
Each morning started with a delicious buffet breakfast at L’Esprit Nouveau, the hotel’s French restaurant. There was plenty of choice for both adults and children before setting out for a full day exploring Paris.
One of the hotel’s biggest highlights is undoubtedly Rooftop Eylau Paris, its rooftop bar overlooking the Eiffel Tower. We headed upstairs around sunset for cocktails and dinner, with the rooftop’s brasero-fired menu creating a relaxed setting. Watching the sky change colour behind the Paris skyline before the Eiffel Tower illuminated for the evening was easily one of our favourite moments of the stay.
Service throughout was amazing, from arrival to breakfast and our evening on the rooftop. For families looking for space, warm hospitality and an exceptional location for experiencing the city, Canopy by Hilton Paris Eiffel Tower ticks all the boxes.
