Each morning began with a beautifully varied breakfast that balanced both à la carte dishes and an abundant buffet, offering something for every appetite. From lighter, wholesome options to more indulgent plates, it set the tone for relaxed yet refined days on the slopes.

Evenings at Zento were equally memorable, centred around thoughtfully curated dinners that showcased the best of Hokkaido’s produce. A standout was the perfectly grilled salmon, elevated with a delicate topping of caviar that added both richness and a touch of elegance. Another highlight was the Hokkaido Yakiniku Gozen, an interactive experience where we grilled premium cuts of meat right at the table. This was an instant favourite with the kids, turning dinner into something both delicious and fun.

The restaurant’s well-considered wine list deserves a mention too, offering a strong selection that pairs effortlessly with the menu. Whether starting the day or winding down after skiing, Zento strikes a wonderful balance between comfort, quality, and family-friendly appeal.
