Our dinner began with the Stewed Mussels, beautifully prepared in a fragrant, flavourful broth that complemented the natural sweetness of the seafood. The Spaghetti Vongole was another highlight, featuring tender clams tossed with perfectly cooked pasta, allowing the delicate flavours of the sea to shine. For something heartier, the Lasagne Bolognese delivered layers of rich, slow-cooked meat sauce and comforting Italian flavours.
One of the evening’s standout dishes was the Local Reef Fish, salt-baked in fragrant pandan leaves and served with brown butter. Wonderfully delicate and succulent, the fish showcased the freshness of local ingredients while offering an elegant interpretation of traditional island cuisine. The Grilled Fillet Mignon was equally satisfying, beautifully cooked and full of rich, savoury flavours.
Dessert brought a fittingly indulgent conclusion with the classic Tiramisu, combining delicate layers of coffee-soaked sponge and luscious mascarpone cream.
With its combination of comforting Italian classics, beautifully executed seafood and refined presentation, La Tavola offers a memorable dining experience that feels both sophisticated and wonderfully relaxed.
