Ningxia Night Market (寧夏夜市) located in Taipei on Ningxia Rd. between Nanjing W. Rd. and Mingshen W. Rd, is a bustling market offering plenty of local eats and an energetic atmosphere. The crowded path is lined with little stalls offering up everything from shellfish, sausages, fresh fruit and an array of Taiwanese specialities. We loved the fresh baked clams, Taiwan’s famous oyster omelettes, barbecued squid, pig’s blood rice pudding, and finishing off with freshly baked egg tarts. Don’t forget to check out the surrounding restaurants too if you are looking for a casual sit down atmosphere and want a taste of how the locals dine. A must visit spot for foodies wanting to get a true taste of Taiwan.
