Yuet Lai Shun have opened their second location in Sheung Wan and we have been eager to try their dim sum and classic Cantonese fare. We loved the traditional and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant and their menu of traditional delicacies. We highly recommend their freshly prepared dim sum platter which included Steamed Shaomai with Abalone, Steamed Shrimp Dumplings with Gold Leaves, Puff with Wagyu, Deep Fried Dumplings with Shrimp and Goose Liver and Steamed Dumplings with Shrimp and Chinese Chives. Their indulgent BBQ Pork in Honey Sauce (Char Siu) was delicious and tender and is a definite must order, as is their fragrant and flavourful Double-Steamed Pork Lung Soup in Almond Milk. They have also introduced winter warming hot pots for the cooler season and we loved their decadent Traditional Lamb Hotpot featuring tender, juicy cuts of lamb, and a satisfying rich broth and dipping sauce. A perfect spot for a family brunch or dinner when you are craving a true Cantonese treat.
