Shida Night Market 师大夜市 is a bustling night market located not far from YongKang Street that is great for shopping and sampling local eats. If you want a true taste of Taiwanese street food, visit in the evening and all day on weekends to munch on all that’s on offer. We loved the crispy and fragrant Taiwanese Fried Chicken, stands brimming with boiled fish balls, tofu, and seaweed, the traditional oyster omelette, juicy Gua Bao, and the tangy and sour Kumquat Juice. Sample a little of everything and wander through all the little alleys to soak in the fun and lively atmosphere. A great night market if you are looking for both food and shopping in one place.
