The Verandah, located on serene Repulse Bay, is the perfect spot to spend Sunday brunch with family and friends. We were instantly drawn to the colonial venue boasting sea views, spacious dining rooms, attentive staff, and European charm. The buffet is incorporated of an array of culinary treats including an indulgent selection of smoked salmon, freshly shucked oysters, shellfish, the most impressive charcuterie spread we’ve seen in HK, rich pan fried foie gras, and fresh veggie salads. There was something for everyone and all paired perfectly with their enticing selection of champagnes and wines. The main courses are served a la carte at The Verandah’s brunch and we loved the generous options including a light and tasty Pan-Fried Fillet of Barramundi on Asparagus Risotto, and juicy Roasted New Zealand Rack of Lamb with Pancetta Potato Cake, Sauteed French Beans and Rosemary Jus. Make sure to save room for dessert and visit their abundant dessert station full of pastries, cakes and a chocolate fountain, as well as the decadent cheese cart for an ideal finish to the meal. The perfect way to spend an enjoyable weekend.
