With a casual atmosphere and their expertise in fine wine, Le Café Winebeast is quaint and relaxed dining experience. Nestled down McGregor Street, their open air set up makes this location ideal for two. We settled in for their latest 3-course meal deal and a bottle of vintage red on their recommendation.
Our starters included a refreshing smoked tuna tartare paired with fruits that lent their acidic flavours to the dish, an ideal combination of sweet and savory. Pork rillettes spread across a hearty piece of brioche had a great deal of rustic charm and aromatic flavours. We recommend their homemade Gnocchi with freshly shaved truffles for mains, fluffy and pillowy, they were made to perfection.
For our chocolate lovers, the fondant is a no brainier! Whilst the crème brûlée is choice for those who enjoy softer flavors and textures. Past the caramelized candy coating was a smooth creamy custard beautifully infused with vanilla.
