Zuma is one of our favourite spots when we are craving Japanese fare so we headed over as soon as we returned to HK for a delicious meal. We opted to sit at the sushi bar and watch the chefs in action which makes for the ideal ambiance for a fun date night. Favourite dishes of the night included the Grilled Shishito Peppers with Lemon and Sea Salt, fresh Seasonal Sashimi, indulgent Toro Maki with Chili Tenkasu and Yuzu Pearls, mouthwatering Dry Aged Galician Striploin Tataki with Ginger Ponzu and Truffle Shavings, crispy Avocado Temaki, rich Pork and Foie Gras Gyoza with Apple Cider Sauce, fragrant and unique Grilled Tofu with Japanese Wood Smoke and Spicy Ponzu, and the decadent Grilled Spanish Red Prawn with Yuzu Koshu. Make sure to save room for their delicious Hokkaido Molten Cheese Cake with Sudachi Lime Sorbet and Black Winter Truffle which is a definite Hungry Hong Kong favourite. Pair your meal with their new Gin and Tonic cocktails, some sake or ask the sommelier for some wine recommendations. A perfect way to start your weekend or unwind after work and a must visit if you crave quality, innovative Japanese fare.
