The team behind organic and trendy Locofama have teamed up with cultural gift shop, G.O.D., to create sister restaurant, Sohofama. They have successfully created a foodie heaven fusing creative, sophisticated, and quirky design with great quality produce, organic farming, and delicious healthy living. Sohofama’s menu is a fusion of old classic Chinese recipes with modern techniques in cooking and organic living. They support local farming and community bringing a true sense of Hong Kong to the venue. We loved the industrial yet cozy space and sampled their “Soho’s Classic Tasting Menu” so we could have a little of everything. Favourite dishes off the menu included the melt in your mouth Slow Cooked 48hr Natural US Beef Short Rib Pancake Sliders, the fragrant 24 Hour Drunken Organic Egg, the crispy and indulgent Stir Fried Tiger Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk, and the savoury and moreish Stir-Fried Organic US Pork Belly with Chili and Housemade Pancake Wraps. Every bite was delicious, comforting, and happily MSG free. The guilt free take on eating local food was refreshing. Flavour was never compromised and was actually enhanced with fresh, organic ingredients. Make sure to sample a few of their unique cocktails which combine fresh flavours and great display. An ideal spot for dining with friends or a quick lunch between shopping. We will definitely be returning for more and more.
