Best Western Sonasea is an ideal five star choice if you are looking for modern luxury while visiting the stunning island of Phu Quoc. The large, sprawling resort offers all the amenities you would require including multiple swimming pools, optimal beachfront location, luxurious villas and rooms, delicious dining options, a fully staffed kids club, and comfortable spa.  We loved our gigantic two-storey three-bedroom Deluxe Villa complete with refreshing private pool, decadent ensuite bedrooms with terraces, equipped kitchen and full size dining area, and plenty of living areas for groups and families travelling together. A daily shuttle is available to visit the island’s famous night market and you are just across the street from a few local shops and eateries if you don’t want to venture too far from the resort. We were in awe of the epic sunsets and clean sea, and had fun swimming, sand castle building, and kayaking along the beach. Essence Restaurant was the perfect lunch spot after a morning of swimming, and the staff were always eager to assist with sightseeing recommendations or local eateries.  Highly recommended for those travelling with young children or families who value space and luxury alongside impeccable service.
